Director Reveals Weapons Prequel, Focuses On This Character

JAKARTA - Zach Cregger's Weapons film received a positive response from the audience. Now, he claims to have several plans to develop the horror world.

He also has plans to develop the character of Gladys, an aunt who can learn the supernatural world. This character is played by Amy Madigan.

"This is true and I have spoken to Warner Bros. about this," said Zach Cregger as quoted by Fangoria.

"There is a story and I am very enthusiastic about it. This is not a lie," he continued.

Different from most horror films that focus on sequels, Cregger explained that the prequel plan about Gladys was already designed even before the film circulated in public.

"I'm ready. I already had the idea before the film was released," he said

This year's Weapons film received a surprise that earned $260 million in revenue for global broadcasts.

The film Weapons tells the story of a phenomenon in which children fled their homes in the middle of the night. A teacher who becomes a homeroom teacher, begins to seek investigations in their housing.

The prequel plan also seems to be irreversible in the near future, because Zach Cregger is working on a reboot film from Resident Evil.
