JAKARTA - The LPPOM Halal Examining Institute (LPH) has again made an international achievement by winning the GIFA Championship Award 2025 for the category of Halal Certification. This prestigious award was announced at the 15th Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) which took place on September 11, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The award was received directly by Raafqi Ranasasmita, Corporate Secretary of LPPOM, in a ceremony which was also attended by world figures, including the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Yang Mulia Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who received the title GIFA Laureate 2025.

The GIFA event initiated by Edbiz Corporation since 2011 is known as one of the most prestigious awards in the world, especially in the field of banking, finance, and the global halal ecosystem. This event is an award for the superiority, leadership, and progress in the growing world of Islamic finance," explained the Chairman of GIFA, Dr. Humayon Dar.

Meanwhile, Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, emphasized that this award was given to those who served with dedication. We hope that the recipients will be an inspiration to continue to instill integrity, sincerity, and a spirit of service to the community," he said.

Global Recognition For LPPOM

In closing, Raafqi expressed hope that this award would trigger a new spirit for all levels of LPPOM. In the end, our goal is to provide a sense of security and trust for Muslim consumers, as well as provide added value for business actors," he said.
