Chika Jessica Is Furious, Her New Nephew Comes Home From Work And Is Even Beaten By The Gegera Police, Thought To Be The Demonstrators

JAKARTA - Actress Chika Jessica said that her nephew was a victim of the repressive attitude of the officers in the city of Bandung who were calming the atmosphere of being less conducive due to the demonstration against the increase in allowances for the DPR RI.

Chika Jessica said that her nephew was not a demonstrator but an employee who had just returned from work and was having fun eating on the side of the road. Unfortunately, his nephew was beaten until he was dragged by the police.

"Last night in Bandung, my nephew was the victim of a beating by police in Bandung. Where the police were chasing the demonstrators while hitting randomly," Chika Jessica wrote as quoted by VOI from her personal Instagram, Wednesday, September 3.

"My nephew's position just came home from work and was eating in a round tofu cart and was silent, but was suddenly dragged and hit in the head by the police," he continued.

Even though Chika said that his nephew's friends had explained that they were only employees, but his friends were also hit by police officers.

"Even his friends shouted, 'this is an employee, sir, just coming home from work', but his friend was also hit by a police bat," said Chika Jessica.

This 37-year-old woman understands the police's duty to calm conditions that are not conducive in several regions in Indonesia, but she regrets if there are victims of wrong police violence.

"In a situation that is not conducive like this, there must also be many individuals acting on behalf of the demonstrators, even though they are rioters," said Chika Jessica.

"But please, Mr. Police, don't get the wrong target. Life cannot be replaced, we don't deserve this kind of harsh treatment," he continued.

As a result of this incident, Chika and her family asked their nephew, who had already been traumatized to take a break from work for a while. Not without reason, Chika said that his nephew's injuries were quite serious.

"My nephew was immediately traumatized and today our family did not allow him to work because his body was sick because he was dragged and his head was bruised inside," he concluded.
