Aurelie Moeremans Says He Is Often Offered Political Participation, Rejects Firmly

JAKARTA - Actress Aurelie Moeremans revealed a surprising experience of herself who received offers to enter politics several times. He conveyed this through uploads on his personal Instagram.

"Seeing the current news, I am very grateful that I always refuse to be offered any party or politics," said Aurelie Moeremans, quoted by VOI from Instagram @aurelie, Monday, September 1.

Aurelie admitted that the first time she received an offer to enter politics occurred in 2016.

"Because, I was offered several times and the first time, I remember, it was 2016. There was a senior actress who called my mother, invited her to have coffee. Then I was confused, right? It's like, 'It's amazing'. Even though we're not close," he continued.

It turned out to be true that his feeling was that the meeting was to introduce Aurelie to a party figure.

"And it turns out that I feel right, he introduces me to his boss, party people, and I was invited to join. Then I was immediately told that I could get like this every month, hundreds of millions. I'm confused, why am I? That's right. I'm not interested in politics, I've never posted politics either," said Aurelie.

Furthermore, Aurelie revealed the contents of the offer which was quite surprising. "He said, 'It's okay, it's okay, it's okay. You have a very easy task. You just follow your father, then just make it busy if there is an event. And if for example you have to talk to the residents, we'll tell you what to say later. You're used to making text? You're an artist, right?'," he continued.

However, the lucrative offer did not make Aurelie tempted.

"I'm just a doll, please, give me a script. I don't want to. Finally I refused. Then several times I was offered to be with different people, yes. Then the last one was the least. So, I was offered again, I said again, "I'm not interested, I also don't really understand politics," explained Aurelie.

In fact, some emphasize Aurelie's foreign language skills as an excuse to invite her into politics.

"And the person said, 'Why? Everything is politics, and you can use five languages really, especially if you meet people from abroad'. I said, 'I understand it, but I've been shooting for a long time, and I didn't have time, I didn't have time to go to college. Shame if for example people know'. And he said, 'No, many don't go to college but it's been successful here'," he continued.

Even the offer to 'accelerate' the education path was made to him.

"And I still don't want to. And finally he said, 'Actually, if you want to go to college, how come it can be arranged. Later you just have a master's degree, then the undergraduate one, you just follow my directions, we'll make it short. Later you just focus on your master's degree so it's cool'," he concluded.
