Uya Kuya Cat Evacuation, Sherina Munaf Reveals Her Conditions Are Worrying

JAKARTA - The looting of Uya Kuya and Eko Patrio's houses which was carried out on Saturday, August 30, 2025, caused various concerns. One of them is related to the pets of the two artists who are now members of the DPR.

Related to this, Sherina Munaf, who is known as a moving animal lover, is known to save the cats they care for. Through the upload of Threads, Sherina admitted that she had saved one cat belonging to Uya Kuya and her partner.

"One of the cats from Uya Kuya's house was detained and overnight I and @indiradiandra have coordinated directly with the rescuer. This morning I was picked up and now I'm in a safe position, I'm focusing. This is only one of the possible 16-20 cats that were traded at that location," wrote Sherina Munaf, quoted on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

In the post, Sherina said that the condition of the Uya Kuya cat that was rescued was in a worrying condition. Starting from the body that looks so thin that it is not maintained.

"The condition is very thin, the bones feel really bad when they are stuck in their bodies," he said.

Seeing the cat's condition, Sherina also reminded animal care to adopt properly. He advised not to care for animals if they were not treated properly.

"For pet owners, please as much as possible ADOPT, don't SHOP, sterile the cat, if you can't take care of it, you don't have to maintain it," he said.

It didn't stop there, Sherina also said that she and her team were trying to save Eko Patrio's pet. For the rest of Uya Kuya's cat, it will still be sought to be saved.

"I have communicated with the rescuer of Eko Patrio's cat. It is in the hands of fellow paint lovers and is safe, currently rescuers are still waiting for information from the owner," concluded Sherina Munaf.
