Starting From Episode 9, The World Of The Married For Audiences 19 Years And Over

JAKARTA - The World of the Married is again rated 19+ for episode 9 onwards after episodes 7 and 8 are rated 15+. Thursday, April 23, the production team confirmed the news about Kim Hee Ae's new drama rating change and why.

"In the second part of the story, namely the turning point, the psychological battle between Ji Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae) and Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon) will begin," said the production team of The World of the Married, quoted from Soompi.

The relationship between the two will be even more fierce and different than the previous episodes, so the production team decided to rate 19+ for the entire episode.

The World of the Married tells the story of a married couple Sun Woo and Tae Oh who have to be divorced due to Lee Tae Oh having an affair with Seo Da Kyung (Han So Hee). Sun Woo, who has achieved a successful career and a happy family, has to accept the harsh reality that she was betrayed by her husband. Moreover, her husband was having an affair with the son of his own boss.

In episode 8, Tae Oh and Da Kyung returned to South Korea to live fostering a household after Tae Oh divorced Sun Woo and left their child. The two of them held a housewarming event where they invited all their relatives and family including Sun Woo.

In fact, Sun Woo's life after divorce is not as safe as he imagined. After experiencing insistent terror at his residence, Sun Woo also had to be confronted with his ex-husband who tried a series of tricks to slowly torture him mentally. The preview episode 9 shows the two meeting at a restaurant with their respective partners.

On the other hand, Da Kyung, who is now Tae Oh's legal wife, also does not fully receive security and love. Da Kyung is often worried and jealous by Tae Oh who cares more for his son and Sun Woo, Lee Joon Young (Ji Jin Seo). In fact, Tae Oh and Da Kyung were blessed with a child before they got married.

Friday, April 24, the cast will attend an online press conference which can be watched via the drama's YouTube channel JTBC at 2 pm South Korean time. Episode 9 of The World of the Married will air that evening, at 10:50 p.m.
