Meanwhile, Padi bassist, Rindra said that the Sabang Merauke performance was not just a show but a movement to love Indonesian culture.

"So I personally am a romanticism, as a colonial generation, and for millennial generation, gen Z, this is something we can reintroduce how rich Indonesian culture is," said Rindra.

Rindra also added the importance of the next generation knowing the stories of the Indonesian people to stay sustainable and not be consumed by the times.

At the Sabang Merauke performance, Padi Reborn appeared even more magnificent with a new arrangement coupled with orchestral music, performing the song "Mahadewi" and the national anthem "Syukur" duet with Yura Yunita.

The Sabang Merauke performance is a colossal and magnificent art performance, featuring beauty, diversity, and uniqueness of Indonesian culture.

Combining traditional music, songs, dances, and clothing from various regions in Indonesia from Sabang in Aceh to Merauke in Papua and presenting the stories of the people of the archipelago in modern packaging with international standards.

This performance involved hundreds of artists from various generations and professional backgrounds to promote unity and diversity. The Sabang Merauke performance will be held at the Indonesia Arena Jakarta on August 23-24, 2025.
