JAKARTA - Losari Beach in Makassar is known as a tourist icon that is crowded with local residents and tourists.

However, the relaxed atmosphere enjoys dusk and culinary in this area is often disturbed by the presence of street buskers who visit visitors one by one. These conditions often cause complaints, because they are considered to disturb comfort.

Responding to this, the Makassar City Social Service together with UPT Losari collaborated with the Road Administrators Community (KPJ) to organize buskers' activities to make them more focused.

Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division of the Makassar City Social Service, Muhammad Zuhur Daeng Ranca, in Makassar, Thursday, said that his party is currently collecting data on buskers in the Losari area.

"We are cooperating with the KPJ. We will first collect data on the buskers and later we will provide space so that they do not go directly to one by one visitors," he said, as quoted by ANTARA.

He explained that this coaching step aims to provide a positive space for buskers so that they can channel their talents more regularly.

"So there are several places that will be prepared together with UPT Losari and KPJ. So they don't come to visitors who are often considered disturbing," he said.

Head of UPT Losari, Muliari Rosa Arifin, added that the handling of buskers in the area will be focused on collaboration. Later, buskers will be directed to appear entertaining at certain points.

"So together with the Makassar Social Service Office, Satpol PP, UPT Losari we collaborated with them (the buskers) to appear at several points in the Losari area," he said.

According to Muliari, his party together with the KPJ have prepared a small stage or special spot so that buskers can act without having to disturb visitors who are eating or relaxing.

"Like that, there are several spots or locations that we have prepared for buskers, later together with the KPJ will go down. So we no longer go to visitors who are currently eating," he explained.

With this new scheme, buskers will sing in a predetermined area, so they can still entertain visitors without forcing or disturbing comfort.

"There is no more coercion to visitors, because they stay in that place, not anywhere else. Later they will entertain the visitors who attend," he said.
