The Trial Of Divorce Heats Up, Attorney Says Andre Taulany Was Sued Back To Erin About Joint Assets

JAKARTA - The divorce process for presenters Andre Taulany and Rien Wartia Trigina (Erin) is entering a new, increasingly complex phase.

Andre's legal team, Fahmi Bachmid, revealed that his client, who originally only applied for divorce, is now facing a lawsuit related to the distribution of large amounts of joint assets.

Fahmi Bachmid explained that the initiative for this asset lawsuit came from Erin Taulany in response to the divorce application filed by Andre.

"So I say that Andre Taulany only filed for divorce, did not file any lawsuits. On the other hand, Andre Taulany was sued against several assets, including expenses and so on, as well as shared assets," said Fahmi Bachmid in the Cipete area, South Jakarta recently.

According to Fahmi, the list of assets sued by Erin's side is very large and diverse, including immovable assets to insurance policies.

"There are so many assets being sued, namely there are several points of lawsuits included in the lawsuit. (There are) land and buildings, (there are) moving goods, (there are) stocks, (there are) bank accounts, insurance policies. All of these are return lawsuits," explained Fahmi.

He again emphasized the contrast between Andre's simple initial petition and the reverse lawsuit he received.

"Just suing for divorce but being sued for so much joint property and everything has been included in the lawsuit," he added.

With this return lawsuit, Fahmi Bachmid emphasized that the problems in his client's household were already at a very serious level, denying the notion that their separation was without significant problems.

"This is already very serious about the problem. Andre was suddenly sued by being told to share so much wealth in his lawsuit. So, that's what happened, if you say there are no problems, this is very serious," he said.

Previously, Andre Taulany filed for divorce from Erin in April 2024. The application was submitted in an e-court with number 1668/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Tgrs.

However, the panel of judges at the Tigaraksa Religious Court rejected the divorce application filed by Andre Taulany against Erin Taulany. The reason is that the alleged constant dispute between Andre and Erin was not proven.

Until finally Andre again filed for divorce again on an e-court basis since 9 April.

Andre Taulany and Erin married on December 17, 2005. From that marriage, they have two sons and one daughter.
