Presenter Indra Bekti appeared with a new appearance that was slimmer and fresher. He openly acknowledged that the change was the result of a strict diet that he went through, not without reason, but because of a serious health-related warning.
"Yes, if you say diet is a diet, reduce food so that the body is good, healthy, all estimates," said Indra Bekti in the Central Jakarta area, Monday, August 4.
The turning point that made him change his total lifestyle occurred last April, when he was diagnosed with liver fatty. This condition became a stern warning for him.
"From April, I was fasting. Starting from I got a stomach with a liver fatty. So from there it was a warning, so thank God," said Indra Bekti.
"Yes, finally from there trying to diet, eat healthy, eat good food well. Alhamdulillah, so I got this. I can imitate it, smooth, thin. From 78 kilos, now it's about 66 kilos," he continued.
Before finally deciding to go on a diet, Indra Bekti said that his health condition had decreased drastically. He admitted that the main cause was irregular and haphazard eating patterns.
"Yes, it's a liver fatty this year, yes, April it was a liver fatty. Yes, it ate just a meal, ate fats, ate fried foods, swallowed," said Indra Bekti.
His condition even had time to make him have to go back and forth to the Emergency Unit (UGD) until he finally had to be hospitalized.
"I was treated three days. So before being treated, the main thing was that in a month three times back and forth to the ER. Finally, yes, I finally had to be taken to the ER and at once had to be treated immediately," he continued.
Now, Indra Bekti really maintains food intake. He avoids fatty foods and fried foods, and consumes more boiled food. The sport he does is also fairly relaxed, which is just taking a walk.
"Yes, there is food that is no longer fat, not fried. Then the most boiled is eaten, then there are supplements that I do drink every morning and night. So more fiber, that's more sports, I'm actually lazy, so it's more important to keep eating. Don't let it be, I'm exercising too, going to the mall," said Indra Bekti.
Even so, he did not completely leave the rice.
"(Nasi is still eating) but the portion is not much, it is reduced," he said. He also still eats three times a day, but with a healthier menu and avoids fried foods which he calls "evil".

"(Nasi) 3 times a day still, early in the morning eating bread, eating lunch as usual rice, as long as it's not fried, don't go fried, the bad thing is fried. So fried, don't," he said.
Apart from the type of food, he also pays close attention to his eating hours. "The last meal at most in the 7-hours, yes. The 7's has to be finished," concluded Indra Bekti.
