Han So Hee And Choi Min Sik Confirm The Remake Role Of The Intern Film!

JAKARTA - Han So Hee and Choi Min Sik are confirmed to receive a role for remake from Hollywood film, The Intern. The original film is played by Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.

The Korean Film Council announced that the two actors had confirmed the offer and pre-production was underway. Filming of the film will begin in September.

"Han So Hee will play the remake of The Intern," said 9Ato Entertainment as Han So Hee's agency.

The film The Intern tells the story of a young CEO in his 30s recruiting the elderly as an intern. With a wealth of experience, he actually became an intern at the company.

The role of Anne Hathaway will be played by Han So Hee, a CEO of an online fashion startup company that managed to achieve success in one year and a half months.

Choi Min Sik will play an intern at an elderly age who starts his new life.

The film The Intern is Han So Hee's third project in the big screen after debuting with Heavy Snow in 2023. She is also preparing a Project Y film with Jeon Jong Seo.

Han So Hee is also on an Asia tour for her first fan meeting, including in Indonesia.

Choi Min Sik last acted in the film Exhuma which became the best-selling Korean film in 2024. He will play in the film No Other Choice which airs this year.

On the other hand, Min Sik is also preparing for the Notes from a Last Row series which will be released next year.
