Robert Downey Jr.'s Assistant And A 'Close Friend' Of The Avengers, Jimmy Rich, Dies

JAKARTA - Jimmy Rich, a person known as the personal assistant of actor Robert Downey Jr. passed away on Wednesday, May 5 yesterday.

This sad news was conveyed by Downey through his Instagram account. "This is not news. This is a terrible and shocking incident".

The Iron Man actor explained that Jimmy Rich died in a car accident at 8 p.m. to be exact. As a longtime assistant, Robert Downey Jr. felt the loss so great.

"He is the brother, right hand, uncle to my son and loved by his character". Jimmy Rich is known to have worked with Downey since 2003.

This news is also responded to by fellow Avengers players. A number of actors such as Mark Ruffalo, Josh Brolin, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, and others wrote their condolences.

"Good man. I have known him almost as long as I have known you, Robert. My heart hurts to see Jimmy go to another world", said Mark Ruffalo, who played the Hulk.

Jimmy Rich died at the age of 52.
