Edward Akbar Still Asks For Assets, Kimberly Border's Mother Is Angry

JAKARTA - Although Kimberly Border and Edward Akbar have reached a peace agreement regarding the distribution of assets, it seems that not all parties are satisfied.

Kimberly's mother, Irviana Zainal, openly voiced her dissatisfaction, especially regarding the portion obtained by Edward Akbar.

Irviana questioned why Edward was still asking for part of the joint asset, even though according to him everything should be earmarked for their children.

"He said yes, he said he said it was for his son, why did he ask for a share? Hah? The house asked for a share, the car asked for a share," said Irviana Zainal in the South Jakarta area, Friday, July 25.

He highlighted Edward's request to get 40 percent of the proceeds from car sales. According to Irviana, this was not commensurate with what Edward had given to meet the needs of Kimberly and his grandchildren.

"But he said for his son, why should he ask for his part? Why did he ask for 40 percent? Should a father be like that? He didn't provide enough for my child's needs, it wasn't enough for my grandson but asked for 40 percent," said Irviana.

For Irviana, all proceeds from selling assets should have been given to Kimberly, because she was sure that her daughter would use them all for the benefit of the children.

"Seharusnya 40 persen itu saja memberi ke Kimberly. Kimberly itu 60 persen itu untuk siapa? Anaknya. 60 persen, 70 persen itu anaknya semua, tidak akan mungkin Kimberly akan ambil semuanya," tegasnya.

straightforwardly, Irviana expressed her dissatisfaction with the decision and satirized Edward's attitude as a man. He also mentioned the high cost of his grandson's education as proof that their need was not small.

"Oh of course not (satisfied with his decision). Not really. But yes, how come it's like that? Hello? Yes, you guys just think, going to school is Rp. 50 million a year. It's okay for him to know," he said.

Previously, the couple Kimberly Border and Edward Akbar finally reached a common ground and a peace agreement regarding the distribution of their gara-gini assets after their divorce.

Through their respective attorneys, both of them have legally inaugurated the agreement before a notary.

"Everyone agreed, all finally agreed that everything had been notified, yes, there was peace and regarding other assets. Later it will be submitted at PPAT Notary Gianyar," explained Machi Ahmad, KimberlyRIDer's attorney in the Jakarta area, Friday, July 25.

Machi Ahmad revealed one of the main points in the agreement, namely the distribution of property assets of 600 meters.

"Yes, the point is 600 meters, that's 400 meters for Kim, where it will be renamed for my client's mother, Kimberly DEADr's mother and 200 meters for Edward's brother without being sold and later it will be for the children and partly for the charity," said Machi Ahmad.
