The Contents Of The Prosecutor's Indictment And Chronology Of Nikita Mirzani Who Was Suspected Of Extorting Reza Gladys

JAKARTA - The inaugural trial at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) was conducted by Nikita Mirzani and her assistant, Ismail Marzuki, on suspicion of threats and extortion against Reza Gladys on June 24.

During the trial, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) read out two charges against Nikita Mirzani, who was suspected of committing extortion and/or electronic threats, as regulated in Article 45 paragraph (10) letter a in conjunction with Article 27B paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code or Article 369 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, in the second indictment, Nikita was faced with an alleged money laundering of Rp. 4 billion from Rexa Gladys, based on Article 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

The prosecutor in the indictment read out said that Nikita and Ismail had committed a criminal act of extortion against victims of up to billions of rupiah.

"Those who do, who order to do, and who participate in committing acts intentionally and without the right to distribute goods/or transmit Electronic Information and/or Electronic Documents, with the intention of unlawfully benefiting themselves or others, with the threat of pollution or threats of disclosing secrets, forcing people to give something partially or completely belonging to the person or belonging to someone else," said the public prosecutor.

The prosecutor explained that Nikita initially gave a negative review of Reza Gladys's beauty product, which was based on a negative review of the beauty product by Doctor Samira, who is usually called a Detective Doctor. Then, the review is distributed in a video uploaded on TikTok.

"Which one of the Tiktok live video recordings, the defendant Nikita Mirzani, said, 'Why should the doctor sell it even like a doctor? Glafidsya is the one who is being treated as the doctor? Glafidsya is the one who sells bleach lotion. I've met Glafidsya, her skin is gray because she uses a bleached lotion that fades. No, if you want white injections, don't get sun. It's really tired of Indonesian netizens asking for forgiveness. You know you don't use old ingredients, you can get skin cancer. Already you don't have money, you get skin cancer, it's troublesome, "said the prosecutor imitating Nikita's words.

"For the actions of the defendant Nikita Mirzani, it made witness Reza Gladys threatened her credibility as the owner of a product with Brand Glafidsya," continued the Public Prosecutor.

He further explained, at the end of October 2024, Reza Gladys was contacted by doctor witness Oky Pratama through a video call to bridge the feud with Nikita Mirzani by contacting her assistant named Ismail. In the video call, Oky said that Reza Gladys should silence Nikita by giving money so that she would not continue to extend the negative review carried out by the Detective Doctor.

Reza Gladys also asked Oky for help so that she could meet Nikita, who was then directed to communicate via Ismail.

"Then witness Oky Pratama sent the cellphone number belonging to witness Ismail who is the defendant's assistant Nikita Mirzani via WhatsApp message, and doctor witness Oky Pratama sent a message, 'Tetah through Mail, the final. Niki said for sure before we met. Chat, he's Niki's replacement. Just say that you want to visit Niki'," said the prosecutor.

Then in mid-November 2024, Reza invited Oky to arrange a meeting with Nikita at Oky's house.

Nikita is said to have questioned the purpose of the meeting, which Oky replied by saying that it was possible that Reza would want his products to remain safe from being vertified.

"For this reason, doctor Oky Pratama's witness sent a screenshot of the conversation between doctor Oky Pratama's witness and witness Reza Gladys and sent a message 'Yes, that's how it is, I met Niki but had to chat Mail first.' Then the defendant Nikita Mirzani replied 'I just want the money,' said the prosecutor.

"Then doctor Oky Pratama's witness replied, 'The money covers the mouth differently, the money to keep the money from disturbing in the future is different, because it's an annual chase. I've known him to Mail. He wants to chat Mail now'. Then at around 21.22 WIB, witness Reza Gladys asked witness Ismail about the gathering schedule between witness Reza Gladys and Nikita Mirzani. .

Until November 14, Nikita Mirzani was said to have communicated with her assistant, Mail. On that occasion, Nikita was said to have asked Reza for Rp5 billion as money to cover her mouth so as not to vilify her products.

Previously, Nikita Mirzani's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, said that there was no article on extortion in the prosecutor's indictment. He even asked Reza Gladys to apologize to Nikita Mirzani.

"There has never been a criminal act of extortion. So on this occasion RG, (Reza Gladys) must immediately apologize to Nikita Mirzani within 7x 24 hours," Fahmi Bachmid told reporters after the trial.

However, Fahmi's statement was immediately denied by Reza Gladys's attorney, Surya Batubara, who said that his party had included a number of articles that were deemed appropriate for alleged violations of the law allegedly committed by Nikita Mirzani and her assistant.

"What is certain is that we have reported this crime, and investigators have named him a suspect, the Public Prosecutor has declared P21, and is currently in court. The proof is a court. So there is no need to apologize, there is no sorry for you. That's all for us," he said.
