JAKARTA - Netflix original series Emily in Paris begins production for its second season. Reportedly, actress Lily Collins returned to Paris, St. Tropez and other locations around France.

Through its social media accounts, Netflix released a video of the players saying, "We're back!"

The plan for this second season has been initiated since Emily in Paris became one of the most watched Netflix series in 2020. Released on October 2, Emily in Paris was watched by 58 million viewers in 28 days.

Initially the series was projected to be released via Paramount Network before finally moving to Netflix.

Emily in Paris tells the story of a person named Emily who moves to Paris because of the demands of her job. Feeling shocked, Emily faced problems in the world of work, friendship and romance.

Apart from Lily Collins, this series also played by Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat and Bruno Gouery.

Not only widely watched, Emily in Paris also received two Golden Globe nominations for 2021. This achievement has also sparked criticism among netizens.
