Condolences For The Accident Of The India Air Plane, Amitabh Bachchan Calls For A Transparent Investigation

JAKARTA - Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan mourns the tragic loss of life in the recent Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad.

Reporting from the Hindustan Times, Amitabh expressed his empathy and support for those affected by the incident.

Seeing this, Amitabh requested that there be a transparent investigation to investigate the crash of the plane that killed more than 200 people.

"Very sad and deeply regretful for the Air India accident, empathy and support for the lives lost to our people, and throughout the country and community," said Amitabh Bachchan.

"Hopefully sadness turns into solidarity in respecting lost lives through transparent investigations, let there be sustainable memories and resilience for meaningful actions and fast lessons and for healing all," he continued.

As is known, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane took off from Vallambh Patel's Sardar Airport, Ahmedabad, at around 13:38 IST to London Gatwick.

Just a few seconds after takeoff, at an altitude of about 625 feet, the pilot reported to the ATC the thrust problem, with the phrase 'Trust not aviation. Falling' when making an emergency decision.

Then, the plane lost its altitude and crashed into a medical student dormitory in the Meghani Nagar area, Ahmedabad, about a mile from the airport. The collision caused a major explosion and fire.
