Marcel Chandrawinata Interested In Playing Horror After Becoming A Film Producer

JAKARTA - Marcel Chandrawinata revealed his first experience as a producer. He is one of the producers for Hans Wanaghi's latest film, The Dark Horse.

"Finally, wanting to try something behind the scenes is quite difficult," Marcel Chandrawinata said at a press conference in South Jakarta on Monday, June 2.

"Usually our players only dig into their own acting but if the producer steps there are a lot of follow-up according to what we see," he said.

He received an offer from Hans and his Infinix One Pictures friends to work on his first horror film. After working on this film, he was also interested in acting in the horror genre.

"I happen to be with Hans, Maria, because I rarely like playing horror films before I play horror films," said Marcel Chandrawinata.

The film The Dark House tells the story of Dewi (Karaina Ranau) and Arya (Ade Bilal Perdana) who go to an inn in the Baturaden area. After they stayed overnight, they experienced various horror events that had an impact on their psychology.

This film is also played by Delia Alena, Theo Culver, Roy Turaekha, and so on.

Meanwhile, the film The Dark Horse will hit theaters starting June 12.
