On Sunday morning, the police received a report from residents about a child who had fallen into a project hole in Taman RW 04, Jalan Manggarai Utara II, Manggarai Village, Tebet District.

Two units of excavators were deployed to carry out excavation carefully by first making a safe path on the side of the hole to avoid landslides.
The police also set up a police line around the location to secure the area and prevent crowds of residents from obstructing the evacuation process.
After the rescue process lasted about four hours, the victim was finally evacuated at around 03.55 WIB and immediately taken to RSCM for further medical treatment. The victim was able to be evacuated alive, but his life was not saved on the way to the hospital.
