DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office Calls Phase Two Process Nikita Mirzani Delayed Due To Health Conditions

JAKARTA - The legal process against celebrity Nikita Mirzani has returned to the public spotlight. This time, the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) confirmed that the second phase of the delegation process that ensnared Nikita Mirzani could not be continued for health reasons.

"For phase two, what is the name waiting for news from the prosecutor because the information between the investigator's coordination with the public prosecutor is that the information is that Nikita is still in the process of being treated at the Police Hospital or in Bhayangkari or, that's what investigators refer to," said the Head of the Legal Information Section of the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office, Syahron Hasibuan at his office, Monday, June 2.

Syahron explained that the suspect's health condition was an important requirement in the implementation of further legal processes.

"So the public prosecutor cannot confirm when because the public prosecutor also has to do the process of handing over the suspect and the evidence must be in good health so that his criminal responsibility can be held, both his body," he continued.

Regarding the certainty of time and place of treatment, Syahron said that his party was still waiting for official information from investigators.

"The information I got before we got this press conference (his illness) I confirm that the information is from the investigator that the pain is when I can't be sure," he said.

"(Nikita is in the hospital or detention) I can't say for sure when but the information from the prosecutor I confirm when the prosecutor's friends plan to accept implementing the second stage," he said.

Until now, Nikita Mirzani's condition is still considered unsuitable to undergo the legal process.

"Information from investigators that the suspect is still in an unsuitable condition. So we make sure to fit first," concluded Syahron Hasibuan.
