JAKARTA - Today, Monday, May 3, YG Entertainment's agency announced that APink's Naeun has officially joined them.
“We are pleased to announce the multitalented Son Naeun. As Son Naeun is facing a new phase by starting as an actress, we will give her full support so that she can showcase her capacity", said YG Entertainment via their official Instagram.
She joins the actor division where YG Entertainment also houses Kang Dong Won, Lee Sung Kyung, Cha Seung Won, Kim Hee Ae, Jang Ki Yong, and others.
YG then uploaded the latest portrait of Naeun as an actress under their new agency.

Last week, Naeun chose to quit Play M Entertainment, which oversees APink. Meanwhile, five other members; Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jung Eun Ji, Namjoo, and Hayoung renewed their contracts.
Despite parting ways with the other five APink members, Naeun believes that APink will not disband. They are also currently preparing a new album to celebrate their 10th year debut.
Naeun, who debuted as an idol in 2011, has pursued a career in acting, variety shows, films, and more. Some of the dramas she has starred in are Second 20s, Cinderella and the Four Knights, and Dinner Mate.
Naeun was also confirmed for a role in the Korean drama Disqualified as a Human with Ryu Jun Yeol and Jeon Do Yeon.
