Single Mom And Decide To Move To Bali, Tengku Dewi Admits It's Heavy

JAKARTA - Tengku Dewi revealed the story of her struggle as a single parent who now lives and raises her two children in Bali. Tengku Dewi admitted that living the role of a single parent is certainly not an easy thing.

"It must be hard (single parents and living in Bali), it's really hard. Just because maybe these two children are given very busy, so for negative things or sad or dramas, I don't think about it. Because there is a lot to take care of," said Tengku Dewi in a statement. his statement in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, May 7.

As a single mother, Dewi not only focuses on parenting, but also has to work hard to make a living to support her small family. This dense routine is actually a diversion from various negative feelings that may arise due to her current status.

"Then I also have to make a living single mom, right, so I've been distracted. So maybe it's a gift too, right, so I don't really think about things that are not good," he continued.

Despite living a life without a partner, Dewi is grateful not to experience the baby blues. He felt helped by the support of those closest to him.

"(Take care of the child alone) not the baby blues. No, no (even without a husband). Luckily now I have a support system, have friends, have a family that really supports me, if I'm in trouble they help me, also offer," explained Tengku Dewi.

Although his relationship with his ex-husband, Andrew Andhika, has ended legally, communication between them continues for the benefit of children.

"(Communication with Andrew Andhika about) taking care of the child, yes. But as much as possible because the status has been separated, the legal review has also been officially so I limit the communication as well, if possible, don't let things go outside (manage) of the child, I'm afraid it's going anywhere," he concluded.
