JAKARTA - SM Entertainment finally opened its voice about the Taeyeon concert, The TENSE, which was canceled in Japan. The TENSE concert which was supposed to be held on 19 and 20 at the Tokyo Ariake Arena.

The agency explained that the tools used for Asian tours did not arrive in Japan on time, making it difficult to hold concerts on schedule. However, the news irritated fans because they were not delivered publicly.

Tuesday, April 29, SM Entertainment released an official statement regarding the cancellation of the Taeyeon concert and the refund process.

"After the initial announcement of the cancellation, we tried several ways including a rescheduling attempt," said SM Entertainment.

"Meski begitu, tantangan dalam mendapat venue baru yang memenuhi jumlah audien sekaligus membela standar yang serupa, kami dengan menggalahan harus membatalkan konferensi di Tokyo secara resmi," katanya.

They will return all the ticket funds to fans who have bought tickets. The agency also apologized for not being able to fight for the concert.

"We apologize to the fans who have been waiting for this concert, and we ask for an understanding of this final decision as we try various ways," continued SM Entertainment.

Taeyeon also shared an official statement released by the Taeyeon fan group globally asking for an explanation from the agency.

Taeyeon itself is still continuing the tour of The TENSE to several countries, namely Macau, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
