BALIKPAPAN - Artificial intelligence (AI) developments have been implemented in various fields, including education. Instead of being seen as a threat, AI assistance can have a positive impact if applied properly and wisely.
Therefore, it is important for teaching staff to equip themselves with technological developments. Both through seminars and other programs, efforts to keep up with AI are expected to help teachers teach innovatively.
Hi Guru, an online learning platform - which aims to improve the competence of teachers in Indonesia, held the Hai Teacher Impact AI Learning Revolution in Balikpapan City. Teachers, as at the forefront of developing students' knowledge and skills, need competence in using AI to improve the quality of learning.
This event has become a professional development platform for teachers in the midst of the dynamics of the world of education that continues to change. We encourage teachers to explore the potential of AI technology, understand, and use it wisely and effectively in learning. This program is also a space for them to learn, discuss, and build networks," said Caroline Suyatmadja as Chair of the Hai Guru Impact Committee in a written statement, April 26.
This event also brought in a number of speakers, including the Head of the Balikpapan City Education and Culture Office, Irfan Taufik, S.Ag., M.S., Co-Founder and CEO of Mimin AI Tech Platform, Joseph Simbar, B.Sc., Practitioner of Digital Platforms Education, Purnawan Kristanto, Director of Academics Ciputra University, Eddy Yusuf, Ph.D., and Head of Hai Guru Section, Clara Anugrah Barus, M.Pd.
