Wendy Red Velvet Joins ASND Agency, One Label With Fromis_9

JAKARTA - Wendy from the Red Velvet group joins a new agency to continue her individual activities. She was declared the latest artist from the ASND agency.

Friday, April 25, ASND announced this good news as well as releasing video clips and some of its latest profile photos.

"Wendy signed an exclusive contract with ASND. We are happy to be working with artists who show their capabilities in various fields," said ASND.

"We plan to be cooperative for Wendy's activities with Red Velvet. We will also do our best to make Wendy who believes in ASND shine brighter," he said.

On the same day, Wendy launched an official X account with the name @WENDY_offcl. Later, Wendy's entire activities will be soloized through the account.

In addition to being active as a member of Red Velvet, Wendy is also active as a soloist by releasing two mini albums. He also collaborated with several musicians, one of which was Jin BTS for a solo song titled Heart on the Window at the end of 2024.

ASND is a new agency that previously signed exclusive contracts with five members of the fromis_9 group, namely Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon. They also have the right to use names to continue their activities.

Earlier this month, Wendy and Yeri did not continue exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment, while Irene, Seulgi, and Joy extended their contracts. SM stated Wendy and Yeri will continue to participate in Red Velvet activities.
