Proven Not To Understand The Rules For Foreign Service Permits, Lucky Hakim Is Subject To Administrative Sanctions

JAKARTA The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya, announced that the process of examining the Regent of Indramayu, Lucky Hakim, regarding his trip outside Japan without permission had been completed.

The examination was carried out by the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs and involved nine witnesses in about a week.

"So, the examination files from the Regent of Indramayu, Lucky Hakim, have been processed and the entire examination process has been completed by the Inspector General and the ranks at the Inspectorate General 10 or 9," said Bima Arya at the office of the Director General of Village Administration, Tuesday, April 22.

"There were 9 witnesses who were questioned for a period of approximately 1 week and the results have been reported to the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Home Affairs has received and submitted the verdict," he continued.

During the examination, the team found that Lucky Hakim did not understand the obligation to submit a permit before traveling abroad, regardless of his purpose and condition.

"From the examination that was carried out later, the inspectorate team found from the statements of all witnesses that the Regent of Indramayu did not know the rules regarding the obligation to submit a permit request abroad under any conditions, wherever and for any purpose," explained Bima Arya.

"Secondly, there was no use from the APBD for the entire journey of the Regent of Indramayu," he continued.

As a follow-up, the Ministry of Home Affairs imposes administrative sanctions. Lucky Hakim is required to follow the government governance deepening program within the Ministry of Home Affairs for three months, with the obligation to attend at least one day per week.

"The Regent of Indramayu was asked to divide his main tasks as regional heads by deepening government political governance within the Ministry of Home Affairs," he explained.

"The regent will follow, for example, activities and presentations from the Director General of Politics and General Government, namely Regional Generals, Regional Commanders, and others," concluded Bima Arya.
