Regarding The Closing Of Tourist Destinations In Puncak, Menpar Widiyanti Putri: Tourism Managers Must Obey Licensing Rules

Responding to the closure of a number of tourist destinations in Puncak, Bogor, some time ago, the Minister of Tourism (Menpar), Widiyanti Putri Wardhana appealed to all tourist destination managers to comply with every applicable rule and fulfill all permits for the construction of the required tourist attractions.

"The Ministry of Tourism always urges all business actors to comply with applicable laws and regulations, complete permits and build according to the stipulated conditions," said Menpar Widiyanti, Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Menpar Widiyanti said that enforcement must still be carried out if it does not comply with the permit as a form of applicable law enforcement. Therefore, he emphasized to business actors to ensure that the legality of the business they manage has met the applicable requirements.

"All of that must be in accordance with the procedure, because all there are rules that must be obeyed so that they run in an orderly and comfortable manner," said Menpar Widiyanti.

On this occasion, the Minister of Tourism Widiyanti expressed his sympathy for the flood disaster that hit a number of areas some time ago and had a major impact on the community.

The Minister of Tourism also emphasized that the Ministry of Tourism has a big task of ensuring that the tourism sector's ecosystem and investment climate run well without sacrificing environmental sustainability.

"This means that if the ecosystem and investment climate run well, the surrounding community will receive positive impacts, MSMEs, restaurants, and surrounding tourist villages will also be helped. So a positive economic impact must be maintained because tourism is a very effective sector to advance our economy," said Widiyanti.
