Sugar Factory Film Will Show In America

JAKARTA - Ahead of the screening of the film, MD Pictures held a People's Party and Ngabuburit with their latest production, the Sugar Factory. Directed by Awi Suryadi, the party will be held on March 20 at Epicentrum XXI, South Jakarta.

In accordance with the theme, this people's party is decorated with culinary parties and traditional dances and lumping horses are opened. The Manten Tebu procession is also presented to visitors to experience experiences such as in the film Sugar Factory.

Apart from Indonesia, the Sugar Factory will air internationally in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the United States, and several other countries following Indonesia.

"The first day of Eid, March 31, we will be broadcast simultaneously throughout Indonesia. And that week also in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. After that, we will also release it directly in the US. What is certain is that on March 26, we are ready to leave LA Gala Premiere," said producer Manoj Punjabi.

The Sugar Factory film players also enlivened the People's Party, namely Arbani Yasiz, Ersya Aurelia, Erika Carlina, Bukie B. Mansyur, Wavi Zihan, Moch. Arif Alfiansyah, Benidictus Siregar, Sadana Agung, Yono Bakrie, Vonny Anggraini, Budi Ros, Dewi Pakis, Azala Putri, Hayati Azis, Gilang Devialdy, and Pratito Wibowo.

The concept of a culinary party is also held to welcome the release of a film where various types of snacks are present and enjoyed by visitors who hunt takjil in the middle of the Ramadan atmosphere.

This sugar factory has elements of our cultural nuances raised. And if you look at it, it's really interesting that this horror film is not just a horror film for me. This is horror, drama, and there is an element of comedy that all blends together," said MD Entertainment producer and CEO Manoj Punjabi.

The Sugar Factory tells the story of Endah (Ersya Aurelia) who works as one of the seasonal workers at a sugar factory. One day, Endah wakes up and leaves the loji to follow someone who violates factory rules.

Since that incident, Endah and other workers have experienced a terror situation that caused a friend's death. Endah was determined to find out where it came from and what happened at the factory.

The Sugar Factory film comes in two versions, namely yellow hours and red hours, starting March 31 in Indonesian cinemas.
