JAKARTA - Norma Risma, a woman from Serang who was the victim of an affair with her husband and mother, was confused by the tweet of a ustaz known as Hilmi Firdausi.

In his personal X account, Hilmi Firdausi expressed his confusion because many Indonesian films raised the theme of infidelity, one of which was Norma Risma's story.

"After the viral film of infidelity with my own brother-in-law, now an affair between my father-in-law and daughter-in-law appears," Hilmi Firdausi wrote as quoted by VOI from the account X @Hilmi28, Thursday, March 13.

"Why are the films the theme of infidelity within the family increasingly widespread? Is this an overview of the social life of our people who are getting there more and more?," he continued.

At the end of the sentence, Hilmi felt that this was like a sign of the end of the era that was getting closer.

"Really, the end of the day is getting closer. Wal'iyadzubillah," said Hilmi Firdausi.

Norma responded to this tweet through her personal Instagram. For him, this film is not just entertainment but a place for the victims of infidelity like himself to complain.

"Mr. Ustaz, this is a story of my life that really happened. Many DMs I feel down because I don't dare to speak up. How do victims like me have to face infidelity? How do I remain sincere in serving my mother?" said Norma Risma.

Norma herself gave Dee Company permission to adapt the true story of her life to the film Norma: Antara In-laws and In-laws. The film, starring Tissa Biani, Wulan Guritno, and Yusuf Mahardika, is scheduled to air on Lebaran 2025.
