Because Of Heritage, Indira Soediro's Model Disrupts With His Own Brother

JAKARTA - Indira Soediro's model clashed with his own younger brother after the inheritance of his parents which was sued by his own younger brother at the South Jakarta Religious Court since 2018.

Indira Soediro's attorney, Kuspriyanto, SH, CLA, expressed objections to the Determination of Execution Confiscation and Consumption Determination issued by the South Jakarta Religious Court due to formal defects.

In Determination of Execution Confiscation, there is a wrong interpretation of the decision of the High Court which according to the attorney, the decision should instruct Defendant I and Defendant II to divide and hand over inheritance assets, not just Defendant I.

With the death of Defendant I, Defendant II should have been given the opportunity to carry out the order before the execution.

Meanwhile, in the Determination of Consumption, the consignment was carried out based on a request from the husband of the late Defendant I, who according to law was not an heir and did not have a legal standing.

"This is a serious problem because the assets deposited actually include goods that are not part of the court's decision, resulting in inappropriate asset mixing," said Kuspriyanto in the Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, March 11.

Indira Soediro hopes that the South Jakarta Religious Court will review the determination again because it can harm legitimate heirs.

"We hope that the South Jakarta Religious Court can review this determination. Inaccurate decisions have the potential to harm the legitimate rights of heirs and cause injustice in the distribution of inheritance," said Indira Soediro.

Indira Soediro admitted that he did not understand the reason his younger brother was trying to bring this matter to the realm of law, even though there had been an effort to make peace.

"I don't know my sister's intentions, why are you so adamant about bringing this inheritance to court to decide on friendship," said Indira Soediro.

In fact, their late parents gave the mandate so that these four brothers would maintain good relations and respect each other's rights.

"The contents of the will are so that the heirs take care of each other and are in harmony, all of them are given their respective inheritance rights," said Indira Soediro.

Until now, this former Indonesian princess still hopes that this inheritance dispute will not decide on friendship.

He is still trying to reunite his family by continuing to try to mediate with his younger brother so that this problem can be resolved amicably.

"I just hope that it doesn't break the friendship, it's not about the struggle for inheritance rights, but the struggle to unite the family," he hoped.
