Zaskia Adya Mecca Builds A Special Command Post For Flood Victims In The Bogor Area, Distributes Aid To Small Gangs

JAKARTA - Zaskia Adya Mecca together with Indadari distributed aid by building a post for flood-affected victims in the Bogor area, West Java.

Initially, Zaskia and Indadari planned to make a study with blind friends but after seeing the news their plans changed.

"In the morning after waking up, seeing the news of flooding in many places.. I chatted Inda before going, 'What if we continue to move to the flood site, make a post all!!' It turns out that we have the same thoughts," wrote Zaskia Adya Mecca, quoted by VOI from Instagram @zaskiadyamecca, Wednesday, March 5.

Unexpectedly this idea was finally greeted by an anonymous person who sent him some money. Zaskia immediately used the money to buy necessities such as food to cleaning equipment.

"After Allah's midday movement, someone who doesn't want to be named suddenly transfers a huge amount asking to be distributed to flood victims (cry, Allah, it's very easy!) we immediately shop for food, cleaning equipment, candles, drinking water, buy rubber boats, and others," continued Zaskia.

Arriving at the flood-affected place, Villa Nusa Indah, Zaskia in collaboration with the TNI began to build a post and distribute aid.

"Arriving at the flood point, Villa Nusa Indah, no one has made a post yet, but there is one TNI truck as well as a rubber boat, finally we synergized with the army men when we arrived, as simple as saying 'we need drinking water.. from dawn the lights were flooded up to 3 meters!'," said Zaskia Adya.

This assistance continues to be distributed by Hanung Bramantyo's wife until the afternoon until the water recedes and is considered sufficient to meet the needs of the victims.

"The day the water recedes in the afternoon, the food is also ready for candles, and others we can go by car to the small alleys to distribute aid," he said.

Zaskia hopes that the assistance from him can provide energy for victims that there are people who are ready to help.

"Although we know that our assistance is not much like the severity of the disaster that our brothers and sisters felt at dawn during Ramadan, but at least our presence gave them energy that we exist and God willing, we are ready to help," he said.
