Luxury Collaboration, Balenciaga Releases Kim Kardashian's T-shirt For IDR 13 Million

JAKARTA - The Balenciaga fashion brand is now selling T-shirts with a picture of Kim Kardashian for $825 or IDR 13.5 million as part of the Brand Ambassador Fanclub Series collection for the fall of 2025.

This black oversized shirt features three iconic photos of Kim Kardashian in a Balenciaga dress equipped with her name and signature on the back.

Reporting from the Page Six page, from the official Balenciaga website, this t-shirt was made in Portugal with a dry jersey material. This shirt has a short-sleeved crewneck cut, while the Balenciaga logo is embroidered on the left arm.

This 44-year-old woman shared a selfie on Instagram while wearing this shirt and immediately received a lot of praise.

Some fans focused on Kim's beauty with comments like, 'Her face is perfect' and 'Very beautiful, Kim'. However, there are also those who criticize because she still supports Balenciaga, who was caught in the scandal.

Kim Kardashian is indeed known as a big fan of Balenciaga. He often attended fashion shows and became their campaign model.

However, in November 2022, he had time to keep his distance from Balenciaga after this brand issued a controversial advertisement. Balenciaga was hit by controversy over exploitation of children due to a BDSM-themed photo shoot in 2022. Responding to the controversy, Kim expressed his disappointment.

"I've been silent in the last few days, not because I don't feel disgust and angry at the latest Balenciaga campaign, but because I want to talk directly to their team to understand how this happened," he said at the time.

"As a mother of four, I am deeply shaken by these terrible images. Children's safety must be a top priority, and all forms of normalization of child abuse should not be allowed to happen in our society," he added.

At the time, he was still considering his relationship with Balenciaga, depending on how they were responsible for the incident and the steps to be taken to protect children.

Balenciaga himself has apologized several times by calling the ad a "mistake in artistic decisions". However, Kardashian kept his distance from the brand for several months and reportedly rejected campaign offers.

Even so, in April 2023, he began to wear Balenciaga clothes again. Until finally, in January 2024, he officially became the brand ambassador of Balenciaga.
