JAKARTA - Miles Films announced the cast of the film Rangga & Cinta through an introductory video accompanied by a medley of two iconic songs. Still directed by Riri Riza, this film packs the film Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? (AADC) in musical form.

The two-minute video introduces five cast of the Love gang along with the characters Rangga and Borne. Singer Rafi Sudirman was asked as Borne to appear in the first minute.

Then, there is Daniella Tumiwa as Karmen, Rafly Altama as Mamet, Marijuana Mawira as Milly, Kyindra Sembel as Maura, Jasmine Nadya as Alya.

El Putra Sarira plays Rangga and Leya Princy as Love. Their introduction is accompanied by a medley of songs What's with Love? And the Voice of A Lover's Heart created by Melly Goeslaw and Anto Hoed.

Through its first video, the background of a typical SMA school in the 2000s with school backgrounds still reminds viewers of its first film.

All the main characters are new faces and most of them will appear on the big screen for the first time. They were selected after going through a long audition process, which was carried out in a hybrid manner from April to September 2024.

Mira Lesmana is back in the producer chair. This time, he collaborated with Nicholas Saputra, who previously played Rangga and Toto Prasetyanto. The three of them collaborated to be producers for this film.

The plan is that the film Rangga & Cinta will be shown in theaters in 2025.
