In The Same Fate As Ashanty, Uya Kuya's Heritage Land Is Also Suspected Of Being A Victim Of The Land Mafia

JAKARTA Presenter Uya Kuya expressed his confusion regarding the land ownership problem faced by his family.

He questioned how the valid land certificates could be controlled by other parties and even had dual status.

"I am confused, why is this country? We have a certificate (land) that can be controlled by other people and doubles," said Uya Kuya, quoted by VOI from the YouTube Intense Investigation, Tuesday, February 25.

Uya explained that the land already had a property certificate, but was suddenly controlled by one of the developers.

"The land already has a certificate of ownership, suddenly it is controlled by one of the developers, I forgot his name," said Uya Kuya.

What was even more surprising for Uya was the action of the developer who actually demanded the National Land Agency (BPN) on this issue.

"Lucunya, mereka bisa menuntut BPN dan sebagainya," lanjutnya.

As a form of commitment, Uya promised to take care of the land case belonging to her father in Sawangan.

"My promise is, I will take care of the land case of my father in Sawangan. Because I believe that there are elements involved," explained Uya.

He also highlighted the rampant practice of land mafia in Indonesia which is increasingly troubling.

"Mafia, any mafia is getting more and more widespread, so we must eradicate this beloved country," he explained.

According to him, the courage to speak up is important in dealing with problems like this.

However, Uya reminded that one day anyone can experience similar problems, so the support and courage of the community is needed.

"We have to have the courage to speak up. Sometimes we feel that we are not the ones who are in trouble, let it be someone else's problem," he added.

"But if one day you are in that problem, who will be behind you? The point is that," he said.
