Sad News, Wanda Hamidah's Father Dies Of Cancer

JAKARTA - Sad news came from actress Wanda Hamidah, who recently lost her father after battling colon cancer.

Wanda revealed that her father's health condition had deteriorated in recent months.

"Papa was sick a few months ago, papa had colon cancer," Wanda said in the Karet Bivak TPU area, Friday, February 21.

According to Wanda, her family only found out about the disease a few months ago. Due to worsening conditions, her father finally had to undergo intensive care.

"A few months ago we just found out, and because we were sick, two weeks ago, Friday, papa entered RSPAD two weeks ago. Saturday it was decided to remove the tumor," he continued.

After surgery to remove the tumor, Wanda's father's condition improved even though he was still in critical condition.

"When after the surgery, papa was not aware. A few days into the ICU, the fourth day began to wake up, starting to open his eyes," explained Wanda.

However, even though he was aware, his father's condition was getting weaker. The spread of cancer that has spread to other organs makes its condition even more difficult.

"But indeed the condition is very weak, using breathing apparatus and other breathing apparatus. Indeed, papa, maybe the cancer has spread to the lungs, to the liver," he said.
