JAKARTA - The Last of Us series will return with its second season this year. The continuation of this series is still continuing the story of the series from its original video game adaptation.

This sequel is set five years after the first season. Joel, played by Pedro Pascal and Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey.

Some of the new players who will attend this second season consist of the Kaitlyn Dever as far-reaching,dia Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora.

Then there's Spencer Lord, Danny Ramirez. Catherine O'Hara is an undisclosed guest role. Some of the old players like Jeffrey Wright.

The Last of Us was written and produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The two direct their first season and second season.

The Last of Us tells the story of a world that runs 20 years of pandemics due to the spread of the virus that causes the circulation of zombies and causes environmental destruction. A man named Joel was assigned with Ellie to seek immunity throughout the United States.

The second season consists of seven episodes revealed by the creator. The Last of Us 2 will feel like a high calorie dinner.

Every episode is like a presentation. You can eat a grave or 12 types of French dishes. We have seven episodes. They have a high theory, if you like action and drama and things that consist of extraordinary nature, every episode is extraordinary and you won't get bored, said Craig Mazin.

The Last of Us 2 series will be released on April 13, 2025.
