JAKARTA - BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Seo In Guk are confirmed to star in their latest drama. The initial title of Monthly Girlfriend has now turned into Girlfriend on Demand.

Girlfriend on Demand is a drama that tells the story of a virtual world where a person can subscribe to a virtual lover and relationships that exist in the virtual world can be continued into the real world.

Jisoo plays Seo Mi Rae, a webtoon producer who is looking for love in the virtual world. He accepted Monthly Girlfriend's invitation and began to enter the virtual world and meet someone who had been his dream so far.

Seo In Guk plays Park Kyeong Nam, fellow webtoon producer and co-worker Seo Mi Rae. The two often fight in the office because of their work. Kyeong Nam is the best employee who is selfish, behind all that he has big secrets.

This drama is directed by Kim Jung Sik who worked on Work Later Drink Now, Strong Girl Namsoon, and No Gain No Love.

Girlfriend on Demand is Jisoo's latest work after acting in the Newtopia series. He also starred in the Omniscient Reader film and released his first solo album, AMORTAGE. Recently he announced a tour with BLACKPINK this year until 2026.

Seo In Guk also returned after the Death's Game series in 2024. He was also confirmed to play the drama Twelve with Seo In Guk.

The drama is planned to be released on Netflix for an undetermined time.
