Reza Rahadian Await Genre Rom-com, Realized In The Most Beautiful Girl In The World

JAKARTA - Reza Rahadian and Sheila Dara competed acting in Robert Ronny's latest film, The Most Beautiful Girl in the World. This film became their reunion after acting in a series in 2022.

Reza also expressed his desire for the comedy romance genre to bounce back in Indonesia, as revealed by the director.

"I'm looking forward to rom-com coloring Indonesian films, this time ROM-com from Robert Ronny added that color," Reza Rahadian said at a press conference at Metropole XXI, Jakarta, on Thursday, February 13.

"So the appeal of this genre is that the presentation of this film has the depth of each scene," he said.

It is not difficult for the 37-year-old actor to bring the character to life as a capislator, a television station leader who has many demands against his employees.

"Certainly the script reads, understands and chats with Robert and Sheila. The reading is quite the same, maybe preparing the character of the CEO, what he is doing and what some layers need to uphold and add because there are layers of relationships with his mother and father," he explained.

"The shooting process from day 1 until the last is fun," said Reza.

Robert Ronny added, Reza Rahadian and Sheila Dara from the start became the first names he thought of for his main character.

"Reza and Sheila are the first names I've wanted for a long time but it really takes time to finally get it right now," said Robert Ronny.

"In addition to seeing Kiara excited, I also like the interaction of all the characters in this film to add interesting dynamics and make our characters like baby out humans," said Sheila Dara.

The Most Beautiful Girl in the World will be released on Netflix starting February 14.
