Menpar Widiyanti Putri Wardhana Highlights Free Health Check Program For The Tourism Sector

JAKARTA - Free Health Check (CKG) is the second program implemented after MBG from the administration of President Prabowo and Vice President Rakabuming Raka. The public can take advantage of this program right during their birthday period plus one month later. So this program is also referred to as a birthday present from the state.

This CGK program also received attention from the Minister of Tourism (Menpar) Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, especially for the tourism sector. Free health checks are expected to provide benefits, especially in supporting a healthy lifestyle and supporting community activities in traveling.

"We see firsthand the (free health) checks for the elderly (adults), and children. The facilities here (Puskesmas) are very good. So I am sure that the facilities provided by the state for the community are very good," said Menpar in an official statement received by VOI.

Menpar Widiyanti invites the public to take advantage of the Free Health Check (CKG) program which was launched nationally by the government on Monday (10/2/2025) with the aim of improving the quality of Indonesia's human resources through preventive health services.

"Through preventive health services that can be accessed by all citizens, it is hoped that it can change the public health paradigm from curative treatment efforts, to prevent or preventive. From getting sick first, then treatment, but now check your health first before getting sick," he added.

Free health check services are divided into three types based on location. First, CKG Puskesmas on birthdays, which are given to children aged 0-6 years and adults over 18 years. Furthermore, CKG in schools (7-17 years) which will be held simultaneously in schools and routinely every new school year.
