Released At Super Bowl, New Trailer Thunderbolts Shows Antihero MCU

JAKARTA - Several trailers for new films were released in the middle of the 2025 Super Bowl match, one of which was Thunderbolts, who was a champion of Marvel Studio. This trailer continues the story of antiheroes in carrying out missions.

The new trailer introduces Julia Louis-Dreyfus as CIA director named Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. He warned the antiheroes after the Avengers did not appear to have come for them.

Who will save Americans? asked Valentina in the two-minute trailer.

The figure of Yelena Bolova, played by Florence Pugh, also experienced a conflict with her who felt she could not be a savior. Then, Alexei Shostakov (David Harbor) warned Yelena that none of them were heroes.

This new trailer is accompanied by nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now from Starship along with various action scenes that will be carried out by Yelena cs.

Thunderbolts is also played by Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr,ria Russell as John Walker, Olga Kurylenko as Antony Dreykoy, and Lewis Pullman as Bob.

This trailer also marks the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) which coincides with Captain America: Brave New World and Daredevil which will air this year.

The fifth phase of the MCU is also filled with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels and Deadpool & airing.

Thunderbolts will hit theaters May 2.
