Cremation Ash Arrives, Family: No Separation Ceremony For Barbie Hsu

JAKARTA - Abu cremation of actress Barbie Hsu arrived in Taiwan from Japan on Wednesday, February 5 yesterday. The family stated that no farewell ceremony was held for the public.

Barbie Hsu's younger brother, artist Dee Hsu, said the desire not to make this ceremony was related to Barbie Hsu who always wanted to live a humble life.

Thank you to the media waiting for Barbie to arrive in the cold. She has arrived home safely. I believe she is happy and free in heaven now," Dee Hsu said through his manager quoting the Straits Times.

"We didn't hold a farewell ceremony for Barbie because she always wanted to be humble. If you miss her, keep her in your heart," he continued.

"Our whole family is grateful to you for your love for Barbie," said the manager.

Barbie Hsu was cremated in Japan where she rested for the last time. Then, the family sent Barbie cremation ashes with private jet services on February 5.

Barbie's husband, DJ Koo, was seen carrying cremation jars and getting into the car when he arrived at Songshan Airport, Taipei. DJ Koo returns with Barbie Hsu's family. The cremation booth is said to be pink and stored at home compared to the columbarium.

Dee Hsu explained that the entire return trip was arranged by the family of Hsu and her husband, Mike Hsu.

Barbie Hsu died on February 2 after suffering from pneumonia from infection from the flu.
