Jurassic World Rebirth Trailer Releases, Scarlett Johanson Recalls Repetitive Agents

JAKARTA - Universal released the first trailer for the film Jurassic World Rebirth. The 7th film from this franchise features a new character with the same location as the previous film.

Jurassic World Rebirth will tell the story of five years after Dominion, an expedition in an isolated equatorial region for DNA extraction projects from three prehistoric creatures and medical breakthroughs.

Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) recruited a leader to help him carry out this expedition. In the trailer he is seen working with Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Apollo.

In addition, this film is also played by Rupert Friend, Ed Skrein, Mahershala Ali, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, Philippine Velge, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda and Bechir Syl Badminton. They will work together to report the progress of the expedition to Zora.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, this film was written by Michael Crichton and David Koepp. Steven Spielberg, who directed his first two films, became executive producer in this film.

In her latest interview, Scarlett Johansson is looking forward to joining this franchise. She admitted that she often contacted her agent to ensure there was a new film offer about Jurassic World.

"I'm so crazy about the original film, and I slept in the Jurassic Park tent on my back and my brother for a year," Johansson told Vanity Fair.

"Every time there is a report on a new Jurassic film, I will send it to my agent and say, 'I can't'" he said.

Jurassic World Rebirth takes three settings, namely, California, London, and Thailand. The film will hit theaters starting July 2, 2025.
