Higashide Masahiro Announces Birth Of Child From Karin Matsumoto

JAKARTA - Japanese actor Higashide Masahiro shared the latest news from his marriage to Karin Matsumoto. They were blessed with their first child after getting married last year.

The news was shared by Higaside via his YouTube post. He wrote, 'Lahir! Mother and child are in good health'

"Just a notification - Higaside," he wrote in the community column.

Their relationship was controversial considering Higaside Masahiro is 36 years old, while Karin Matsumoto is 25 years old. Karin chose to retire from acting after marrying Higaside and sharing her new life as a housewife.

Karin is also known to be one of three young actresses Higaside invited to go to her house in an interior. Reportedly, these three actresses lived with Higaside at the foot of the mountain.

Higashide Masahiro has been married to Anne Watanabe since 2015. In 2020, it was revealed that Higaside had an affair with actress Erika Karata when Anne was pregnant with their third child.

Higaside and Erika have competed acting in the film Asako I & II. They also attended the Cannes Film Festival before their affair was revealed to the public.

Higaside divorced Anne Watanabe on August 1, 2020 and drew a response after it was revealed that Higaside did not support her three children.

On 27 August 2024, Higaside announced his second marriage to a woman after they met in the middle of the year. They met right before Karin decided to retire from the entertainment industry.
