JAKARTA - Netflix Indonesia announced 7 new titles that will air in 2025. As part of the global Next on Netflix series, Indonesia also presents a variety of stories played by top actors and actresses.

Not a few directors and producers have collaborated first with Netflix, among MD Pictures and Soda Machine Films.

Directed by Robert Ronny, this romantic comedy tells the story ofLA (Reza Rahadian), a television station boss who is asked to find a partner in six months. She is assisted by Kiara (Sheila Dara Aisha) to look for the most beautiful woman in the world. The Most Beautiful Girl in the World will be released on February 14.

Losmen Bu Broto: The Series comes with the serial format adapted from its soap operas in the 90s. MD Pictures' first film with Netflix was Setetes Embun Cinta Niyala, a film directed by Anggy Umbara. Adapted from the novel by Habiburahman El Shirazzy, this film tells the story of Niyala (Beby Tsabina) and Faiq (Deva Mahenra) who are not aware of the feeling of love between them.

Director Lucky Kuswandi directed Marissa Anita, Dion Wiyoko, Gisella Anastasia, Widyawati in the first film of Soda Machine Films production house. A Normal Woman tells the story of a socialite woman (Missa Anita) with her perfect life until one day experiencing a mysterious illness that sabotages her life.

A prequel from the film Ali & Ratu-Queen Queens tells the story of the Party (Nirina Zubir), Biyah (Asri Welas), Ance (Tika Panggabean), and Chinta (Happy Salma) in starting their lives in New York. This production process has been completed since last year and will be released this year.

Ernest Prakasa's first film with Imaginari with Netflix is Lupa Mainland. This film tells the story of Vino (Vino G. Bastian), a top actor who suddenly loses his acting skills and becomes an actor with bad acting. This film is also played by Dea Panendra and Agus Kuncoro.

There are a lot of concerns as creators because they have never worked together. Overthinking but it turns out that much surprise input is good to make a more solid scenario, so they have better capacitation power," said Ernest Prakasa.

It was announced that Kimo Stamboel returned with the film Abadi Nan Jaya which tells of a family experiencing strange events and mysterious plagues caused by herbal medicine. This film is played by Donny Damara, Eva Celia, Marthino Lio, Mikha Tambayong, Kiki Narendra, and others.

"We want to color the genre from the already famous, horror but this is the sub-genre and I believe Netflix can bring us a very excellence playing space and that's why we bring that sub-genre," said Kimo Stamboel.
