Officially Divorced, Galiech Ridha Sad Can No Longer Spend Moments With Asri Welas

JAKARTA - The couple Galiech Ridha and Asri Welas were officially divorced on Thursday, January 23 at the Depok Religious Court.

After the trial, Galiech said that this was a tough thing for him because he would no longer be able to live a life with Asri, one of which was about taking care of their child.

"Yes, it's very unfortunate that from the morning of waking up, it didn't feel good, it turned out that when it was on the road it was hard, it was very heavy, very emotional, especially when the child's name was mentioned, I remember when they were born, we took care of it, but it turned out that it only got here," said Galiech Ridha at the Depok Religious Court, Thursday, January 23.

Galiech also expressed his sadness at being able to celebrate his wedding anniversary with Asri which should fall on February 17.

"(Divorce) we are thinking about cooking, we have also tried to maintain it, but God has determined that we will divorce first, so, yes, it is very unfortunate," said Galiech.

"I know next month February, where we usually anniversary but are no longer allowed to be together," he added.

For now, Galiech admits that it is still difficult to accept that his marriage to Asri Welas has ended.

"But thank you for the process which is quite back and forth, but finally today it can be cut off and it feels mixed up," added Galiech.

"On the one hand, okay, it's finished, but on the other hand, it's not easy, yes, once the verdict is read, it's not as easy as I thought, I have to accept all of this," he said.
