Exclusive Febby Rastanty Press Ego To Balance Careers And Education At UI

JAKARTA - Actress Febby Rastanty is in the public spotlight, because she made a total appearance in her first horror film entitled Wanita Ahli Hell. Not only against the fear of having a scary scene, Febby learned to play a wife with extraordinary totality, even before being officially married to Drajad Djumantara.

In the film Wanita Ahli Hell premiered in theaters on November 14, Febby plays the character Farah who is a student. But Farah decided to marry Wahab (Oka Antara), an ambitious regent candidate.

"The film Hell Expert tells the story of a female student who is adopted by the santri leader, his name is Ustaz Irfan and Umi Hanum. She has ambitions to go to heaven because she wants to gather with her parents who died," said Febby Rastanty while visiting the VOI office in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta recently.

Farah considers marriage to be a perfect worship and a path to achieving heaven. During his marriage to Wahab, Farah did her job of being a kind wife. Farah is also loyal to accompany the campaigning Wahab.

"Departing from there, he wants to get married. Because one way to go to heaven he knows is marriage. Being a pious wife, obeying your husband, finally one chance he wants to marry Mas Wahab, a regent candidate in his pesantren area. He married," said Febby.

"How did Farah get her wish The Heaven Expert Woman or even make her hell in the world," he continued.

The wife of Drajad Djumantara admitted that she was initially interested in playing the film Wanita Ahli Hell after seeing the title. Febby felt challenged to play the character Farah.

"The first time I know the title is provocative, a Woman who is an Expert in Hell. What is this? I read synopsis and scenarios, Farah's character is really okay, each character has a character. This story is actually very powerful for Farah," said Febby.

Febby Rastanty feels that playing in this film made by Visinema Pictures is quite challenging. Because, for the first time Febby has played in a horror film. What's more, the public has known her all this time to play the character of a weakly gentle woman in several films.

"Yes (first experience). If you are mentally and mentally, you don't really want to. I try to explore Farah as a wife, she is orphaned and has no parents, has ambitions to go to heaven, I try to explore it mentally. Physically, it's okay. It's physically, it's quite prime in severe scenes," said Febby.

A 28-year-old woman reveals the similarities between her character and Farah. Both have such strong desires and wills. The difference is that Farah has a naive character.

"The same with Farah has a strong desire. He wants to go to heaven, more or less trying every way to go to heaven. Yes, through the way of marriage. He is married in a hurry, rash, but he has a big goal. So, it's okay to marry who is important to go to heaven," said Febby.

"It's a bit the same as Febi, desire, will, ambitious and a bit forced, just have to get it. Farah is a bit naive, because female students, because they live in districts and not in cities. So they don't want to be exposed to the outside world," he added.

Febby Rastanty said Farah's character saw someone with one eye. She only sees someone including her own husband from his good qualities. But it was her husband who destroyed her.

"If you look at people, always suudzon, look at the good side. Even though there are signs that are not implied. Febby and Farah have different characters and I separate them," said Febby.

Not only known as a film player, but Febby Rastanty is also known as one of the members of the BLINK girl band. The girl band consisting of Febby Rastanty, Ify Alyssa, Sivia Azizah, and Agatha Piricilla officially disbanded in 2017.

Even so, Febby Rastanty admits her desire to sing solo. However, Febby is now focusing on acting. However, Febby did not rule out her career as a solo singer.

"If there is an opportunity, because coincidentally now the opportunity is from the offer of acting, whether you want a film or soap opera, I will focus here first. If in the future there will be (solo singers offer), why not," added Febby.

Febby Rastanty tells of her difficult struggle to maintain her existence as an actress, especially since she started her career in the entertainment world in the country since 2004. Febby also has to compete with newcomer actresses who have a myriad of achievements.

Everyone's struggles are different starting points. The ups and downs are different. I started a career quite young and the process was said to be not easy enough, this industry is uncertain. Many new talents and emerge," added Febby.

"How can we survive to provide more interesting work and upgrade ourselves, give a good impression and cooperation. Like people want to cooperate with Febby. Talenta and works are subjective. People say A is good, for others it's normal," he continued.

The tight schedule of shooting, made Febby have to be smart in dividing time between her career and her personal life. Febby also shared her difficulties while filming and college. While resting, Febby took advantage of her time to do college assignments.

"Dividing time is quite difficult, I can still be forced to. I go to junior high school regularly. I go to college regularly, it can be worked on, tired and difficult. When people go to college while playing, I shoot. In the shooting place people chat, I have to do my job. I think it's a priority scale, everything has a time," said Febby.

Sometimes Febby admits that she is jealous of her college friends who take advantage of her free time to play. However, Febby remains enthusiastic and focused on filming and college.

"Well ego, young people want to play games. Take a break playing with friends. I'm back to my initial goal, have a career, want to go to college. (Inviting yourself) it's okay, Febby goes to college for only 3.5 to 4 years, not forever," explained Febby.

Although it was difficult to share time between careers in the entertainment world and college, Febby finally managed to graduate from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia within 3.5 years. For the timeliness of his graduation, Febby managed to win the cum laude title.

However, Febby Rastanty admitted that she had wanted to commit suicide because she failed to test her entry to UI on the Puella ID YouTube podcast. Since childhood, Febby has been eyeing UI. He was very sad because he was accepted at UI.

"So, I never didn't enter UI. I went to high school for IPA, I entered the law. In grade 3 of high school, I just studied IPS. So when I was not enough, and I was quite depressed, I really thought that studying at UI was the thing I wanted from junior high school, I wanted to enter FH UI," added Febby.

"So I can't, I'm really sad. I think where else do I go to college, I don't want to go to college other than there. But I have to go to college, it's impossible to drop out of school," he continued.

Even though he did not enter UI, Febby still tried and tried to return to the UI entrance test. For one year, Febby took the time to shoot and study to face UI entrance tests.

"It's really stuck, I want something to enter FH UI. So if you can't, the world will collapse, it felt like it was at that time. Moreover, it was still young, after a while, I tried this activity and looked for tutoring, I wanted to enter another university, but after thinking about my age in elementary school at a speed of one year," he said.

"Second, I can focus on my career and shoot first and look for activities. I can learn from being left behind. I studied UI for a year, thank God I entered," he added.

Apart from being an actress, Febby admitted that she wanted to work in the legal world according to her college degree. It is possible that Febby also wants to continue her master's degree education. However, she is now enjoying her career as an actress.

"I really want (to work in the legal world). I just pray for the opportunity. Continue to think about it, yes, I really want to, just for now, not that way first. Because of the focus of my career, there are still many things in this field that have not been explored, God willing, I really want it," added Febby.

Febby hopes that in the future her career will always grow and become even better. Febby also wants to try new things, from playing movies or filming with a new genre to becoming a solo singer.

"Hopefully I can develop my career again, can be explored and I haven't tried much before. For example, new characters, new film or soap opera genres, solo singles. Hopefully all my works can have a good impact on many people and hopefully help a lot of people." he concluded.
