2025 Snack Trend, Dry Cake Becomes Favorite In E-commerce

JAKARTA - Recently, Najla Bisyir or commonly known as Ala Bisyir, owner of Bitsweet By Najla revealed the trend of snacks in 2025. He admitted that the culinary trend in 2025 was based on the many orders on his culinary brand, Bitsweet By Najla.

Ala Bisyir said the average customer ordered pastries. What's more, many MSMEs sell dry cakes and sell them through e-commerce.

"In the beginning, pastries must be the target. Many cake products from MSMEs can be sent via online shops," said Ala Bisyir, when met at the Media Gathering Shopee: Write a New Story, Impact of Ecosystem Empowerment Innovation, Jakarta, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

During Ramadan, Ala Basyir admitted that many of his customers ordered pastries. According to him, the pastries will become a trend in 2025.

"The beginning of fasting makes a lot. That one day can run out, we are terrorized because they are stupid. Because products must be made first and homemade," he said.

Ala Basyir also shared the process of the Bitristweet By Najla team making dry cakes. According to him, vast, soft and fresh pastries will be in great demand by the public in 2025.

"It takes time, how to burn nastar twice. People usually once, because they want to be simple. So this is challenging (challenging), because the fasting month of orders is higher," he said.

"In 2025 we will prepare more pastries. They want to be fresh but mixed with chocolate like that." he added.

Ala Bisyir also revealed his perspective as a local culinary business activist who has used the online shop feature to optimize his culinary business potential.

"To continue to attract consumer attention, as sellers we must continue to grow but also must ensure that our business development runs in the right direction," he said.
