JAKARTA - Not long ago a video of an island being sold stole the attention on social media. The island is called Kerengge, whose sales were uploaded by the TikTok account @fhomesjkt.

The island is a small island, located in the Singapore Strait. The island, which is said to have the potential as a refueling facility, is sold at a price of IDR 12 billion.

"This island has the potential to be developed into a shipping refueling facility for international transportation or logistics companies, given its strategic location and easy entry and exit of the Malacca Strait and the South China Sea," the account wrote, quoted on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
