JAKARTA - Ari Irham and Christian Sugiono are doing a new business for their latest film, Santet Segoro Pitu. The two of them compactly shared their experiences learning Javanese to have a dialogue in Tommy Dewo's latest film.

Santet Segoro Pitu is a film that tells the story of Pak Sucipto's (Christian Sugiono) family who experienced an unpleasant incident after receiving a mysterious post. Ardi (Arri Irham) as Pak Sucipto's son finds out what happened to his father.

Ari Irham admitted that he was a Sundanese, so he had to do an in-depth investigation to play Ardi, an eldest son of Pak Sucipto.

"For me, the new one is Javanese and sixth sense. The story is that Ardi's sixth sense is narrowed, he is afraid that in the future he will report Ardi. The difficulty is Javanese because I'm a Sundanese, so it's difficult to adapt," said Ari Irham at the VOI office on Thursday, October 31.

"We have coaching and learning Javanese and continue to research about six sense for a month," said Ari Irham.

"As Mr. Sucipto, our acting is in accordance with our needs, I use Javanese and the challenge is there because we don't speak Javanese but we have one month of preparation. We discuss and learn to use Javanese for Pak Sucipto's dialogue," added Christian Sugiono.

Through this film they also have scenes that are very memorable throughout the process. Given that both of them have to be Javanese, they have found many new experiences.

There was one funny scene, we took it up to 17 times because there were technicalities and other players were also involved. He fell many times and then there was a riot in his tengung, but we continued filming so he could break lunch," said Ari Irham.

"If the scene for me (impressed) is a market scene because I, as a player, have to have a Javanese dialogue with local people and have an exciting atmosphere of 80s and involve many extras. This means that players are more happy if all semi-colosal is involved and all are in sync," said Christian Sugiono.

Film Santet Segoro Pitu akan tayang di bioskop Indonesia mulai 7 November mendatang.
