Reaping Fan Protests, BLACKPINK's Fan Meeting Ticket Price In Jakarta Is Too Expensive

JAKARTA - The ticket price for the fan meeting or the BLACKPINK Lisa fan meeting event in Jakarta has drawn fan protests. Lisa will hold a fan meeting in Jakarta on November 15, 2024, to be precise at the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, North Jakarta.

Ahead of the event, promoter Big Ground Entertainment announced the layout of the audience seats and ticket prices at Instagram @biground.ent, on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Lisa's fan meeting ticket is divided into 8 categories.

In the Big Platinum Tribune category, CAT 5 to CAT 1 buyers will benefit from signing posters for 50 people, and Lisa's exclusive photocard. The CAT 5 category is sold for IDR 1,850,000 and CAT 4 is sold for IDR 2,850,000, both of which are on the right and left of the stadium top.

Then CAT 3 is sold at a price of IDR 4,350,000, CAT 2 IDR 4,850,000, and the Big Platinum Tribune IDR 5,350,000. These three categories will be in the upper middle tribune of the stadium.

For CAT, it is valued at Rp5,500,000, with a standing viewing position. Then there is the Big Diamond Tribune at a price of Rp5,950,000, which benefits from VIP Lamite, lanyard, red carpet, signed posters, and exclusive photocards.

Lastly, the Big Diamond Floor category at a price of IDR 5,950,000, which has almost the same advantage as the Big Diamond Tribune. However, Big Dimand Floor will get access to Send Off, which can meet Lisa closely.

However, after the category was announced and the ticket price for Lisa's fan meeting in Jakarta, fans immediately protested with the promoter. They considered that Lisa's ticket price was too expensive.

Fans said that because Lisa was only present for fan meetings, not a concert. The ticket price is also far above the BLACKPINK concert in March 2023 at Gelora Bung Karno, with the most expensive ticket only IDR 3,800,000.

Not only that, fans also regret the selection of Lisa's fan meeting location which is considered inadequate. They said the ticket price was not proportional to the venue facility.

"Not wrong? It's really expensive, even the venue isn't worth it, let alone the price," commented fans on Instagram promoter @bigground.ent.

"More expensive than the four of them BLACKPINK," said another.

"Guys stop normalize expensive tickets, remember this fanmeet is not a concert," said another.
