One Direction Opens Up After Liam Payne Dies

One Direction released a joint statement after one of their members Liam Payne died. A post shared through their official social media became the first post in four years.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Liam's death. For now, we will take time to manage the loss of our beloved brother. The memories we share with him will always be valuable, "wrote One Direction.

For now, our prayers are with his family, friends, and fans who love him with us. We will always miss him. We love you, Liam, "closed One Direction which added Louis, Zayn, Niall, and Harry as a joint statement.

Zayn Malik, who left One Direction in 2015, participated in the joint statement. Zayn also uploaded a photo with Liam through his personal account and wrote his condolences.

"I lost a brother when you left us and couldn't explain what I had to do in order to take you for the last time and say goodbye properly and say I love and trust me," Zayn Malik wrote.

"I hope wherever you are now, you feel better and in peace and how much you are loved. Love you bro," Zayn concluded.

Louis Tomlinson also uploaded a photo with Liam Payne when they promoted with One Direction. He stated that he would always be there for Liam's son, Bear Gray whenever the Bear needed his uncle.

"As a note, for me Liam is the most important part of One Direction. His experience from a young age, perfect pitch, appearance, writing ability. The list is long. Thank you for shaping us Liam," wrote Louis.

"I feel lucky to have you in my life but I'm having a hard time with things like saying goodbye. I'm grateful we've been getting closer since the band, talking on the phone for hours, remembering the thousands of memories we've had were the luxury I've had with you all my life. I want to share the stage with you again," he continued.

"I want you to know that Bear needs me, I will be the uncle he needs in his life and tell you how extraordinary his father is. I hope I have the opportunity to say goodbye and say once again how much I love you," concluded Louis.

Harry Styles posted a photo of Liam Payne from the back when they concerted as One Direction in one of the stadiums.

"I am saddened by Liam's passing. His happiness is to make others happy and it is an honor to be with him," wrote Harry Styles.

The years we spent together forever are memories of my life. I will always miss him, my dear friend. My heart is grieving for Karen, Geoff, Nicola, and Ruth, her son Bear, and the whole world who knows and loves him, like me," wrote Harry Styles.

Liam Payne died after experiencing an incident jumping from the balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Police said there was an alleged influence of drugs and conflicts from hotel staff. Liam Payne died at the age of 31 and left one child, Bear Gray.
